Why we built WFS Advisory.

WFS Advisory began with a simple observation. Across Asia-Pacific, the capital available for the energy transition and the opportunities that need it are both growing fast — but the bridge between them is thin, and thinnest exactly where the most consequential deals sit: the complex, cross-border, mid-market end that is too small for the bulge bracket and too intricate for generalist advisers.

I spent more than 25 years building that bridge inside large institutions — most recently as Head of Infrastructure, Private Capital Markets for Macquarie Capital in Asia, and earlier at Morgan Stanley and KPMG. WFS exists to do that same work without the constraints of a large platform: senior bankers on every deal, deep ASEAN relationships, and the freedom to structure around what each transaction actually needs.
